I thank the Lord so much for the gift of life, health & breath & for giving me a chance to share our life with you….God has been so good. Last week I was so ill :(, & I thank God for His healing power. Also this week, Faith & I will be down at the Coast for the Wedding Workshop on Wednesday. So if you live around you can pass by Alliance Française we meet up & chat!!!!!
ION, this was a wedding we shot in February, with the team. I have been waiting to post it for a while now…here is what we were up to. Since the couple happen to be Seventh Day Adventists, the wedding was held on a Sunday…we loved the outcome much!!
Ceremony :: Nairobi Central SDA Church ( Maxwell)
Reception :: Karen Blixen Museum
Photosession :: Brookhouse International School
Photography :: Faithful Frames ( Vince Njuguna & Brian Mwando)
Cinematography :: Alko Films
Her engagement ring looked wonderful
Alko Films do the interview
Roger & his entourage enter with song & dance! only to be stopped on their tracks
Roger really knew how to get down, the music only worked to complement his moves
This little man, was the camera’s favourite all day long
The hot food was served!
Before Janet left her matrimonial home we got some time for some bridal portraits, Janet is such a natural!
And the veil went on!
🙂 That cologne moment!
Dad & mum help in the veiling process
Janet looked lovely when all was said & done
That car mirror shot
The boys in the church await the bride
Roger was handed Janet half way done the isle & they walked down the isle hand in hand
Tears flowed freely throughout the vows, was too sweet. Janet’s maid of honour was her sister
These two nosy little guys 🙂
Unity candle, to signify the two becoming one entity
Next up was the sand ceremony
The certificate was safe & secure
Next we left for Brookhouse schools…even though we were hard pressed for time, we did our best to rock it!
The girls looked lovely indeed!
This shot right here made my day…in the compound were a lot of media personalities setting up for presidential debate, and they were laughing & cheering us on 🙂
Back at Karen Blixen there was a lot of dancing & jubilation
That cake!!!! enough said…how come everyone stealing our cake design 🙁
I have never understood the attraction between cakes & cameras 🙂
After all was said & done, we headed to Roger’s home, where there was a very interesting remaining ceremony. Janet was supposed to give her wedding gown to Roger’s mum, and also share a meal together. It was like she was being accepted into the family 🙂
That’s all folks, hope you enjoyed the post….
Have a blessed week, won’t you & remember to read your bible & pray every day 🙂
Loads of Love
Faith & Ben
