Wedding at Pa Pweza :: Nikole + Kelvin

This wedding was one of the best weddings I covered in 2011. Simply because it represented the kind of Wedding that Faith and I would love. Simple yet their own. Some of the traditions that every wedding have; I find totally unnecessary and of no meaning at all. (just Copy + Paste)

I loved this wedding why?

1. It went down on a Wednesday

2. Guest list :: 40 people

3. Nikole’s mum did her daughter’s makeup

4. Portrait session at the beach

5. Loads and loads of dancing…

6. Blend of cultures :: Canada meets Kenya 🙂

7. Had more than enough time for portraits

Well, lemme not spoil your fun with my mambo jambo here are some of my favourite takes of the Coastal wedding.

Nikole’s mum who happens to be an MUA herself does her hair at one of the nice suites at Pa Pweza, her sister holds the hair spray

There was a lot of joy and excitement going round

Nikole’s grandma adjusts the front part of the bridal gown

The church ceremony was held a stone throw away at the beautiful butterfly pavilion. The father of the bride walks his daughter down the isle

Emotional as Nikole’s dad hands over Nikole to Kelvin; Nikole’s mum captures the moment

Nikole tears as she goes through her vows while looking at Kelvin

With this ring ‘I thee wed’

After the 30 min service we had some family portraits: Nikole’s family. It also happened to be the same day that Nikole’s parents got married too **Suweet!

Nikole with her’s and Kelvin’s mum

He was a proud father!

The bride with her maids

Kelvin and his boys

Next my favourite part of the day:: COUPLE PORTRAITS 🙂

Fit for mounting 🙂

The LOVE bite 🙂

Next we left Butterfly pavilion and hit the beach for some portraits; the sun was scorching and it was windy as heaven but Kelvin & Nicole nailed it

Those two passers-by’s made this shot priceless! sometimes mistakes are the best thing that could ever happen

There was a lot of dancing at the reception and the band made it happen

Nikole’s parents show case

Loved this to bits:: Nikole dances with her father. Should be seeing more of this in weddings.

Deep moment between the love birds

Time for some serious moves!!

Yeah!! bring it on!!!

Hope you loved the wedding as much as I did! Wish Kelvin & Nikole the happiest that life has to offer!

Stay blessed Friends!
