Sometime ago, Gathoni & I had the pleasure of working with one of the most talented designers Kenya has to offer, Wambui Mukenyi. She wanted us to shoot her bridal collection & we were more than thrilled to do so. This was our very 1st styled shoot and we were excited to be working with such a talented team that Wambui put together for this shoot. Definitely this is something we look forward to shooting often, and if our good Lord wills, this will be the 1st of many styled shoots we will be posting up here on the blog for y’all to get to know about the amazing talent we have here in our beloved country, Kenya.
So, without further ado I present to you, Wambui Mukenyi’s Bridal collection….

Loved this one much!!!
Some close-ups of Knicco, Bellesa Africa as always did their make-up right!
Ngong house have some lovely cottages hidden among the brush, we took these images at the spiral stair cases leading to the suspended cottages
Then Ajaa joined in and we shot some more in the tall lovely grass
And some more from Ajaa, she rocked those poses really well
Then Susan joined in & we did some fun photos of the girls just hanging out
The bride really entertained her bridesmaids 🙂
Some more of the maids beautiful blue dresses
And these girls could pose!!!
Some more photos of the lovely Susan

We then found this lovely bridge & Ajaa killed it!!!
Bright pink & blue do go so well, well,I sure hope I got that colour correct 🙂
Loved, loved all these dresses, absolutely gorge!
We did some more images inside the cottages, the sun did us well & came out to peek to warm up the freezing weather
These dresses are simply brilliant!
And this dress was one of my day’s favs, this one is def for the daring bridesmaids 🙂
And the gown of the year award goes to!!!!!! My, my where my soon-to-be-bride’s at?
Simply brilliant, we kept taking so many images of this dress, we could not have enough of it 🙂
Loved the back detail too!
The outdoor was absolutely gorge!!!!
And this red dress too…So, for all those brides out of maid’s dresses ideas….yo welcome 🙂
Loved Susan’s dress too, esp. the top lace detail
Yes, loved this image, we just requested Susan to twirl her dress & we got this 🙂
Some more outdoor shots with THE GOWN!!!!!!
Love those candid unaware moments 🙂
And when we asked them to pose!!!!! POW
And we got the lovely dog in this shot, Ngong House has got some two lovely tame dogs that just roam the house looking for photo ops 🙂
And Knicco looked like a split image of Rihana, I just took these close-ups to prove my point 🙂
Make up…WIN WIN WIN!!!
Susan on that daring black gown!!! Would you rock a different coloured gown on your wedding?
Oh my we loved this dress too…maybe the maids can rock white while the bride rocks this? maybe 🙂
Well this would look lovely as an after party dress!
And the lobby is super awesome!!!!!
When I first saw this image at the back of my camera I gasped, we should send this directly to Vogue!
We shall end this amazing shoot with some close ups we took of Susan
