Before we start off this beautiful wedding allow me to share a story I shared with guys at church yesterday…its an excerpt from Rick Warren’s A Purpose Driven Life
One More For Jesus!
My father was a minister for over fifty years, serving mostly in
small, rural churches. He was a simple preacher, but he was a man
with a mission. His favorite activity was taking teams of volunteers
overseas to build church buildings for small congregations. In his
lifetime, Dad built over 150 churches around the world.
In 1999, my father died of cancer. In the final week of his life
the disease kept him awake in a semi-conscious state nearly
twenty-four hours a day. As he dreamed, he’d talk out loud about
what he was dreaming. Sitting by his bedside, I learned a lot
about my dad by just listening to his dreams. He relived one
church building project after another.
One night near the end, while my wife, my niece, and I
were by his side, Dad suddenly became very active
and tried to get out of bed. Of course, he was too
weak, and my wife insisted he lay back down.
But he persisted in trying to get out of bed, so
my wife finally asked, “Jimmy, what are you
trying to do?” He replied, “Got to save one
more for Jesus! Got to save one more for Jesus!
Got to save one more for Jesus!” He began to repeat that
phrase over and over.
During the next hour, he said the phrase probably a hundred
times. “Got to save one more for Jesus!” As I sat by his bed with
tears flowing down my cheeks, I bowed my head to thank God
for my dad’s faith. At that moment Dad reached out and placed
his frail hand on my head and said, as if commissioning me, “Save
one more for Jesus! Save one more for Jesus!”
This very beautiful story, reminds us all that the most important message we can ever share with everyone is the message about Christ & salvation. I hope & pray that also you in your own small way will play a part in telling your family, friends, school/work mates about Jesus and all of us will be passionate in saving just one more soul for Jesus!
Tim & Carol met 7 years ago. Times were really hard then & all Tim knew in his heart is that he loved Carol so much…and seeing her everyday was the highlight of his days. At this particular point in their life, both of them could not afford to go to a posh restaurant or any restaurant for that matter, to order a meal. So, to kill time & take their minds off their rumbling tummies, they took walks, admiring pretty things in stores & supermarkets, dreaming & planning their lives together. Since Tim wanted to see Carol everyday, he would save up any little money he had & give Carol the full fare to go home & come back to town so that they would meet, talk & love on each other as they both hit the hot tarmac to look for gainful employment.
That was 7 years ago, today the story is very different, all that has remained constant throughout the 7 years is their love for each other, & their faith & commitment to God. All that Tim & Carol told me is that throughout the 7 years they have seen the faithfulness of God & thus far the Lord has brought them. What a beautiful story of love, passion & commitment to God.
Tim & Carol got married in a very beautiful & colourful wedding last December, & truly all that Gathoni & I can say, is thus far the Lord God has been faithful. Ladies & gentlemen we present to you Tim & Carol’s story

And just before Carol got into her gown, the luxury cars with the gentlemen checked in, ready to pick up the bride of the day
I loved their wedding programme, very well done

Whitehorse Limo are the kings when it comes to limos
I had never been to CITAM Parklands before, but when we got there, I absolutely loved what I saw, this was one drop dead gorge church 🙂
Carol & Tim chose to have their ceremony outdoor, which was pretty creative. The December sun though, shone mercilessly on us 🙁
And then the procession started…and it was fun, fun all the way
He was one happy gentleman 🙂
The little angel steps on the red carpet like a little princess
Loved the maid of honour’s gown
And finally Carol walked down the aisle hand in hand with her mum
Some of the guests who showed up at the wedding

That moment deep in prayer
And the vow exchange started…
And the cute ring bearer presented the rings
And they were finally pronounced as husband & wife
And it was sealed with a kiss!
Congratulations peck from the folks
And Tim got this wonderful blessing
And Tim was asked by the minister to stand & Carol was told what kind of man he is or ought to be
Final prayer before exiting
Checking in to Safari Park like we own the place
We started off at the lobby & took a few portraits of the bridal team there before hitting the outdoors
The shoes these girls had!!!
Tim & the gentlemen in their slim fit suits
And when we were done with the indoors, it was time to rock nature, nothing beatsAfrican greenery
We took some fun portraits of Tim & his groomsmen
And doesn’t the gentleman on the right remind you of our IEBC chair Issack Hassan? 🙂
The small champ on that gentleman swag!
Next up was the girls, and as we all know, they took the biggest chunk of the time…these girls can pose
The fuchsia & the green really contrasted well
The little tiny fella
Naisula looked amazing
All the lovely girls together

What’s a wedding without a jumping shot 🙂
We tossed to a good life, and left for the ceremony, where Carol’s family & friends were waiting to welcome them
They got the VIP welcome at Oak Place
Loved the set up, very unique
And as always, we had to party —-> the Kenyan way!!!!
And even though the sun was blazing hot, we threw down major
The MC, Peter, does know how to throw down a party
This is called the ‘Shake ya tail feather’ move 🙂
It was all systems go!
After the ladies were done dancing, it was turn for the guys to show em whose boss!

Our final stop of the night was The Crowne Plaza, for our last look shoot
Tim & Carol had a change of outfit, we wanted a different feel for these images, we were going for something more high fashion
It was December, so the air was all Christmassy 🙂
Rock it Carol!
We asked Carol to give us a bored look as Tim played the piano 🙂 Well, it has nothing to do with Tim’s musical skills, I promise… 🙂
And when Tim began to hit the musical notes right…
The chemistry started working…
And we were back to some more high fashion vibe
Spot the Christmas tree at the back!!! Man, do I miss Christmas
See what we did there? 🙂
Loved this one much!
The lens works magic at times
Some honeymoon lounge magic
Crowne Plaza has this amazing spiral staircase. We always wanted to do a shot here…and when the opportunity presented itself…we literally jumped at it:) And with this shot, we called it a night. It had been one very long but fulfilling day. Thank you Tim & Carol for trusting us to document this very special day in your life, and yes…thank you too for making us feel like part of your family…we definitely had a ball shooting your wedding…
We love you!
As always all glory & honour belongs to God,
