I shot this wedding a long time ago 🙂 I blogged it but it somehow dissapeared from my blog by works of black magic, I think :). Before I move on…STOP what you are doing & watch this video…Cry at your own peril 🙂
Now that you’ve wiped away those tears we can move on 🙂
I met Angie many months prior to her wedding. We talked about the wedding & all, she was such a darling. I later came to realise that we were Engineering year mates at JKUAT with her soon to be hubby Tanui. So, I was stoked…this was going to be one wedding I’d enjoy shooting. Before the wedding we had a chance to do their eShoot at Enashipai Resort…which I will also repost at a later date.
One thing that I absolutely loved about Angie & Tanui was the fact that they treated Faith & me so special. All through the wedding we were well taken care & even felt like we was guests 🙂 If only I could re-live such weddings…Here are some favourites from the day…
Ceremony & Reception :: Dinham Resort Gardens
Photosession :: The Kentmere Club
Photographers :: Ben Kiruthi & Matt Masha
I arrived Angie’s home in the morning & after a sumptuous breakfast…we started off, her heels for the day were up 1st
Angie’s maid of honour Joy, helps set up & style the gown…I requested Angie if we could use her living room & she accepted 🙂
They did a wonderful job as you can see 🙂
At Tanui’s side…Martin was off to a very creative start
Now this is what I call….THE ANGEL’S IN THE DETAILS!!!!
And the groom prep started
Tanui looking pretty pleased with himself 🙂

Cheers to the beautiful bride & the wonderful life that lay ahead of her & Tanui
The stair-case at her matrimonial home was to die-for!!! Photography dreams are made of this!
The decor at Dinham was breath-taking…the decor guys totally outdid themselves
Tanui walks in with his folks…even though the overhead sun was blazing hot…we tried to make the most of it
Angie & her folks walked in last to standing ovation fit for a princess bride
The worship was heavenly. I captured this image of the lead guitarist as he was strumming & belting out notes
I loved the wrist bouquets for the maids, I thought that was pretty creative
Angie was such a happy spirit throughout the ceremony
You cute little angel..
Joy, joy joy…I know how much they had waited for their wedding day & I knew what it meant to them
With this ring I thee wed!
Sealing it all with a signature & smiling all the way while at it!
These two are such hopeless romantics 🙂
After this we left for Kentmere Club which is just across the road…and this was the 1st shot…POW!!!!
Angie & her jovial maids…very important to ensure that you communicate the need to have fun & be co-operative with the wedding photographer to your bridal party
See no evil…there’s enough time for that later 🙂
That was one big, big fun bridal team…yes…we should do this again sometime 🙂
Gentlemen! those suits whoever did them, really knows what they are doing
Those late-night kung-fu movies went to some good use
Hahaha..this shot was absolutely random….am still laughing
Charlie’s ****Scratch that**** Tanui’s Angels 🙂
High fashion models, so I see…
They can rock it like gang-bangers too! nice…even that little angel 🙂
Loved this shot…both couples were already hitched though…so don’t try this at home 🙂
Back at Dinham, song & dance was the main dish…and Angie is really, really the dancer!
Showing the ladies how to get down!
This cake!!!!! oh my!!! a lot of time went into the design as you can notice from the minute detail!
The wonderful wine glasses were engraved with their names & also the wedding date…beautiful indeed!
After the ceremony was done, we headed to the Dinham Tea Farm for our sunset portraits…they were absolutely gorgeous
Romantic, romantic!!!! The greenery was to live for 🙂
Tanui being a gentleman, lent Angie his coat to shield her from all the cold & flashing lights 🙂
Yep that’s for you; our loyal blog followers 🙂
Loved the final shot…and it marked the beautiful start of a life together as husband & wife…it was such a joy for Faith, Martin & I to be part of this special day :)..we thank God for the chance…
