Ceremony :: PCEA Kahawa Farmers
Reception :: Kiuu Kenda Farm
Photosession :: An abandoned factory in Kiuu Kenda Farm & The Hilton Nairobi
Photography :: Ben Kiruthi & Matt Masha (Check out his Facebook page here.)
Just married, and they were the happiest people on Earth!!!
Kiuu Kenda Farm had been set so beautiful, it was a reception in the wild
It was dance, dance all the way
Kate blushes some more, I was having a field day 🙂
Fashion was in no meagre supply
And Kate’s infectious laugh lit up the reception over & over again
Oh my beautiful angel Faith, she’s so so lovely, my gift from God above 🙂
Hahahaha I wonder what move this was 🙂 , back-stroke I suppose?
It was crazy celebration, the dust was all up in the air, but the shouts, screams & laughter drowned it all
And they danced, and danced some more
Oh how lovely this is
The team responsible for making us all dance, was the Prison’s Band, they really are on top of their game
The Cake was really lovely, Kate made an excellent choice of design, it was even more as delicious than it looks here :), I ate it for y’all 🙂
They incorporated red lace into the cake design, how cool is that!!
They even had a napkin & an apron for the cake cutting session 🙂
The smiles never ceased
The champagne pop was one for the records….we all got a good free public bath 🙂
Even Kate was not spared 🙂 or maybe she was just wiping a tear from all the love Simon was dishing out on her 🙂
After this it was time for the single ladies to shine and fight for the right to become the next bride in waiting 🙂
It was the battle of the babes 🙂 poor bouquet 🙂
Hahahaha, Faith & the 2 gentlemen “LIKED’ their wedding in real life 🙂
After this we found some abandoned Factory and decided to take some shots there
Maeeeeennnnn, this should be a block-buster movie cover
The groomsmen were Simon’s henchmen 🙂 they can be seen here all planning Simon’s secret getaway honeymoon 🙂
Everybody was trying to bag the best deal
And the deal was closed, Simon was safe…a room at the Maldives had been secured 🙂
Now it was time for them to chill, and talk about politics, soccer & fast cars 🙂
We did some portraits of the guys, they really clean up good….
Jack is one busy man, always on phone, big money business 🙂
Kate’s bro Dennis should just enrol for GQ Magazine 🙂
And finally it was time for Simon to run to his bride, we can call him ‘Runaway groom’ 🙂
Next was the ladies’ glory minutes of fame in front of my lens
The golden sunset was like something out of a wedding photographer’s fantasy 🙂
Those vintage rides were in the right place at the right timing 🙂
That’s my gurrrrrrllllll, she lights up my world, she should just quit photography and become a professional bridesmaid 🙂
She made that old beetle look like a Ferrari 🙂
Did I hear someone scream VOGUE!!!!!! Yes, that’s what was on my mind too!!!!
Best bridal team ever….
And suddenly Kate was swept by a gush of wind and was about to be crushed by the bad old Merc, it was time for Super Simon to jump to action
He swooped down like a scene from the movies and carried her off to Happy Land
And he won the damsel’s heart and reaped off the bounty benefits 🙂
Afterwards we chased away the men & as always girls just wanna have fun 🙂
Gorgeousness bundled together
And it was time for Kate to give them her crazy stories 🙂
It was complete with sound tracks and special effects
Can you name & spot? Its Simon and the ladies….decided to do a wonderful silhouette
The gentlemen were feeling left out
And they revenged by tossing the bride to be in the air, and then simply walked away 🙂 ****Oh I kid 🙂
Decided to take a pic with this amazing couple, now Faith & me are reeeeeeaaaalllly starting to look alike 🙂 her skin colour is rubbing off on me 🙂
After this we grabbed some dinner and about 9pm headed to the Hilton Nairobi for some last look portraits
Though we were all thoroughly fatigued we decided to push the envelope and get some amazing images
That floor was super-coooooollllllldddddd!!! but Kate is such a good sport, despite the staring eyes she hit the floor 🙂
Simon decided to join us on the floor too 🙂
Told them to look at their bright, bright future 8 kids and still counting 🙂
Hilton have the most amazing stair-case ever….we decided to put it to some good use
Someone told me that marriage is hard work!!!! well, it all depends on who is doing it 🙂
The rewards of hard work are pretty sweet though!
Finally we hit their suite and Simon had a special rose for his rose 🙂
One final good night kiss
And before long it was lights out for the both of them!!!!! finally husband & wife….
One more final image from this wonderful couple, hope you enjoyed both seasons of their wedding,…now you understand why I could not just do one post…it was too much awesomeness for one post…
I thank our good Lord & Saviour for enabling us capture such wonderful love between two people made for each other…we are always greatful for the chance that He has given us to serve God & humanity with the labour of our hands…
Be blessed friends…
Loads of Love
