Julie & Pete’s wedding was a breath of much needed fresh air…the joy, laughter & love that characterised their beautiful union was something straight out of a fairy tale novel. Their love for each other & their passion for Christ was evident all through their wedding. Having them as our close friends was the extra touch needed to turn this love story into a master-piece!
I asked Julie of how they 1st met, this is what she had to say about it…
‘We 1st met when we were in High school. It was a brief meet at Pete’s school, we shook hands & that was it. That December, we met again at a Youth camp. We were always together, at the dining area & at the field, talking till 2am. Even the camp trainers were concerned :), the connection between us was undeniable. We exchanged numbers then parted. Constant texting, coffee dates & prayer walks at Arboretum would lead to a love that was so strong. We dated long distance for about 2 years while I was in the States, we talked every day of this 2 years. We knew each others secrets, fears & ambitions.
We knew clearly then, that we wanted to be together, through every hurdle, every difficulty, till we achieved our dreams. 7 years later, our greatest dream came true, when we got married on July 25th, 2014 and it was all that we had prayed & hoped it would be. Christ has & will always be our centre. We involve Him in every decision & step. He is our everything. My dream was to have the Kiruthis cover our wedding, & they did 🙂 , dreams indeed do come true.
Thank you Gathoni & Ben, thank you….’
