I give all the glory to the most high God that the blog is finally up ****Insert ululations***
We had some issue with our previous hosts…they told us that the site was getting too much traffic (Thanks to you guys :)) and it kept on going down 🙁 So we made the decision to move hosts and what I thought would take a few days, took many long weeks 🙁 but it’s back!
Well, to the business of the day, this was a beautiful, beautiful wedding between Kithinji & Nduta. I met them in person the week of their wedding, we had been communicating via email. Nduta is a doctor who works in London while Kithinji is based in Atlanta in the states…so, as usual I was more than thrilled for them to pick me as their wedding photographer…
It was a small intimate affair…I love the growing trends of doing intimate weddings as compared to the big white weddings that is slowly becoming a trend of the yester years. I absolutely loved the wedding, everything was so beautiful & personalised & I have never seen a better bond between families as like what I saw between the 2 families…here are the vendors who worked behind the scenes to make this wedding what it was.

We started off early in the morning at Nduta’s. As usual I started off with the bridal gown…
Kithinji with Nduta’s mum. In the morning, Kithinji came to Nduta’s and they all shared a wonderful prayer together…which set the mood for the day ahead. When God is put 1st all else falls in place
Loved this shot of Nduta’s heels by the stairs
The Pharaoh head piece was a perfect prop for the jewellery
Koby’s Make-up kit…Now Koby is one of the few MUAs who I’d vouch for any day. His work is exquisite!
Nduta looked amazing after Koby was done with the Make-up
And off we were to get her married
Beautiful capture of Nduta with the two mums…loved this much!
A pensive Nduta
St. Andrews is a beautiful venue for a ceremony, the architecture is pristine (For lack of a better word :))
Classy… Kithinji walks hand in hand with his mum!
Next was Nduta’s mum with her brother Daniel
And finally the moment of the day…Nduta walked in with her dad…simply beautiful
Good times we had 🙂
And who gives this beautiful girl to be married to this man?
The vow exchange was wonderful
And hilarious too 🙂
That cute kiddo 🙂
That beautiful private moment!
After this we headed to Safari Park for the reception
The reception was beautiful laid…good work from the planners
Next we did a brief portrait session in Safari Park. Now, I have shot numerous times at this venue & I wanted something different & fresh. So, we decided to shoot in locations we had not used before..this is what we was up to
The pink & grey theme colours blended perfectly
The entire bridal team
The sun was blazing hot outdoors so we decided to shoot indoors
The reflection!!! yes that did it for me too!
Next we did some individual portraits
And Kithinji killed it too!
That’s the shot!!!
And this is Wairimu, best Maid of honour in all the world
Next I caught Alko Films doing their interview…and we laughed all the way!
Back at the reception, the party was jumping! jumping!
The grand entrance was lovely, the entered to a standing ovation from their family & friends
Good times we had too
The speeches were hilarious…Nduta’s uncle stole the show….I have never laughed so hard!
And traditions were not to miss too
A few famous people were in attendance 🙂
Kithinji’s boys…in red is one of my favourite wedding photographers Mark Kathurima
After the reception was done…we headed outdoors for the sunset portraits
The sunset was heavenly…interestingly quite a few Korean patrons kept following us & sneakingly taking images of the two….they repeatedly ignored our appeals for them to stop shooting us 🙂
Hahaha memories are made of these
Finally we had to do some jumping shots…ain’t no wedding till the jumping is done
And it was a wrap to a beautiful, beautiful wedding indeed…it had been a while since we had such fun….thank you kithinji & Nduta for letting us be part of your beautiful wedding…
We wish you all the best that life has to give & many, many blessings from our good Lord up above…
Loads of love,
