Sometime in the past year, God blessed Gathoni & I with the blessing of documenting Isaac & Melanie’s wedding. We wanted to blog this wedding a long time ago, but hey, better late than never right?
We took the time to ask Isaac & Melanie how they met, and this is what they had to say…
Isaac and I first met in summer of 2012. I loved his sense of humour…..After meeting several more times: his wit, charm and good looks convinced me to go out with him.
We spent a couple of months racking up frequent flier miles between Texas and Minnesota. We quickly became inseparable, hence my big move to Minnesota. On my birthday, July 27th, 2013….He popped the question and my answer…YES, YES and YES!!!
Since then we been planning eternity……
I first laid my eyes on Mellanie at my cousin’s wedding in Texas in the summer of 2012. Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet her on that very day, but I never gave up. Through a mutual friend I was able to get her cell phone number. Talk of STALKING, I googled her, searched for her on facebook, twitter, instagram you name it. All these prior to getting her number.
My aunt who lived in Dallas talked highly of this lady she wanted me to meet and I also told her of this lady I saw and was trying to pursue. After exchanging notes we realised we were talking about one and the same person. Mel lived in Dallas and I in Minneapolis. After several trips between the two cities, I was able to convince her to relocate to Minneapolis. Since then I knew the hunt was over.
On December 6, 2014, we vowed to LOVE one another till death do us part. And if there is life after death. We will still love then.

One of the things I looooove about After parties is the food…the needs of we ‘carnivores’ are normally very well catered for 🙂
Afterwards, the it was time to party
Before they did their 1st dance, Isaac & Melanie gave a mini speech, don’t the look amazing!
And they definitely had a go with the shoe game…we laughed so hard
Lastly they had their 1st dance
And we would love to end this post with this ‘Thank You’ pic. What an amazing wedding and we wish Isaac & Melanie all the very best in the life they already began…and all the blessings that our good Lord has to offer.
Loads of Love & Blessings!
