Match Made in Heaven :: Edith & Elijah

I glory in God dear bloggers for all the good He has done for me, this week saw me leave fashion photography, nothing is worth losing your place in the kingdom, and for me my sacrifice had to be something that I loved so much, but God is faithful and I know that He shall provide my every need according to His wonderful riches in Glory. Verse of the week is:

Phil 3:8 ‘What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ’

Well, For Edith and Elijah it was definitely a match made nowhere but in heaven. Later on I got to know and meet the couple more as they happen to be my next door neighbors 🙂 and many a times I have bumped into them shopping together at the supermarket & marketplace and yes they do make me wish I had asked Faith’s hand in marriage 5 years ago. Booh! for all those out there who say that there are no happy marriages, that 2 people cannot live together in unison & happiness as God intended it to be, well Edith & Elijah are such a shining example of that and give me hope that mine too will be a marriage to look forward to…

Morning of the wedding, picked up Edith from Kahawa West estate and I happened to catch the sunrise and also the onions for the guest’s breakfast….mmmmhhh

A really really happy bride reflects in the mirror

For me weddings are nothing short of moments that take your breath away…

Proverbs 30:18-19
There are three things that amaze me—
no, four things that I don’t understand:
how an eagle glides through the sky,
how a snake slithers on a rock,
how a ship navigates the ocean,
how a man loves a woman…
