You have to meet Linda & Isaack, sit with them & get to know them for yourself to understand what I mean by ~~~~~> Some of the most awesomest people alive. We had the blast of our lives shooting this amazing wedding…it is so beautiful watching two people who love each other this much, get married the way God desired. Being part of this beautiful wedding was something we really enjoyed, we felt like part of the family & this is one wedding that will stick in our minds for as long as we both shall live.
When Isaack 1st met Linda at a friend’s Christmas party he was struck by her bubbling personality, joy & beautiful spirit. Linda brought gifts for everyone at the party including Isaack who she barely knew. At this point in time, Isaack had just moved to San jose to start his uni and they got to know each other better; eventually falling in love & getting engaged. Linda, is part of the award winning group Maximum Melodies and is an amazing dancer. Isaack has just got into dancing as he mentioned, heavily influenced by Linda 🙂
THE PROPOSAL (Linda’s View)
‘Isaack staged this whole thing as a b-day celebration. He practically created a video of 20+ individuals wishing me a happy b-day including those in Kenya . Then it was time for him to present his gift, he had promised me an iPhone. I kind of sensed where this was going but when he revealed the iPhone bag, I was relieved. I opened the iPhone box and instead of the iPhone, there was another box with the imprint Zales. I immediately knew what it was, I stood up and practically ran away. Then I recollected myself and came back. Then he knelt down and proposed.
FYI: He had also made plans with my twin sis, Emmy to get my dad on the line during the proposal.
I also did get the iPhone.
You gotta admit, That was awesome! & I Said YES’

We started off at Linda’s matrimonial home…and as always we started off by styling her jewellery & gown
As you can realize from all of our wedding posts, we are lovers of the outdoors…they rock!!!
Gathoni & Mercy were with the guys as they did their prep. Isaack’s watch is the substance of many young men’s dreams 🙂
Loved this shot of Isaack’s blazer
The shoes read Prada just in case you missed the label 🙂
Our very relaxed groom of the day; gets helped to suit up by Dominic
Loved this shot much…this is my typa thing
Gathoni did good justice to that mirror!
Meanwhile our lovely bride of the day was using her iPhone to take selfies just to ensure that Rose the MUA did the make up well
Linda was in really high spirits, the energy was on another level, this was the day she had been waiting for a loooooong time
Christine, the wedding Co-ordinator puts some final touches on Linda’s cathedral veil
Linda’s folks Pius Muiru and Reverend Lucy Muiru drop in for a photo-op with their lovely daughter
Shot this beautiful image through the living room glass door…I loved it a lot
Isaack & Linda’s folks share a light moment during the official handing over ceremony
Love, love the African culture & the way we lay a lesso carpet for our brides…this is something we should never depart from
The number of women who came to welcome Linda was insane, there was too much song, jubilation & ululations!!!! This is how to get married this side of the Sahara
And off we left for the helipad
Linda, her twin sister Emmy & the folks came in by chopper, landing fit for a princess indeed
Oh my! Oh my, too many people at one place, I thought a stampede was just about to happen!!!! all for a good cause though 🙂
Is that a red carpet I see? Linda’s the bride, she could not afford to get her precious feet dirty on this day
The only thing missing here is a ship, we could organise this at the next wedding 🙂 All these were back-ups just in case the other failed 🙂
The ceremony was being held at Windsor Resort overlooking the lake. I loved the set up and the white roses & vines did it in for me!!!
Liz, lead the worship so beautifully…she indeed has an amazing voice, incase you are looking for a songstress for your wedding kindly email me so that I share her contacts with you
Every one did worship
Loved the colour, everyone had dressed up for the occasion
Bishop Climate and his young son had amazing fashion sense
Apostle Martin Ssuna did the opening prayer before the procession started
The officiating archbishop was 1st down the aisle
Next down the aisle were both the mums and their joy was evident to all
One thing that I found very unique was the fact that the mums both did the unity sand ceremony to signify both families becoming one
And then Isaack, keeping with the tradition of the grooms, he came down dancing all the way!!!!
And then the junior bridesmaids, and my could they dance!!!!! let’s just say that they threw it down big time!
Isaack & his bestman Pst. Josh ready to fight for the love of his life 🙂
And there were photographers of all ages
And the little ones trooped in
And then the guys, literally came out of the wood work 🙂 like a riot was just about to start!
Yeah Isaack’s the man!!!!
Yes, and all that is the large crowd that showed up for the wedding…oh aren’t Linda & Isaack loved by so many
Most of the bridal team are members of Maximum Melodies and true to their name, they did dance
Dominic came in with these two lovely ladies
So much joy & beauty every where you looked
And then the moment we had all been waiting for; as the lovely Linda was walked down the grassy aisle by her folks
Isaack in the foreground looking pensively ahead….butterflies were having a field day in his tummy no doubt 🙂
Isaack’s mum tears up as he reads his personalised vows to his beautiful bride
Every girl envied Linda, those vows could even melt the coldest of stone hearts
And then Linda too did her beautiful vows
Had everyone laughing away
And there were many, many moments like this where the tears freely flowed
Gold is the colour of royalty
Every photographer & videography struggled to get the best shot, such is the story of our lives 🙂
Tale of a ring & a jig 🙂
Linda is the loveliest, heartiest person you ever will meet….so much joy that it floated all through the wedding
The presiding archbishop made them kiss so many times, I lost count. All presiding ministers should borrow this & include it in their wedding arsenal 🙂
It got so intense & hot up in here, that Linda had to cool off a little bit 🙂
And more kissing, I have never seen bridesmaids blush so hard 🙂
And then the big announcement came…they were finally husband & wife!!!!
Everybody wanted a piece of action, maeeen we should start a photography school, soo many students everywhere 🙂
And they danced around as everyone threw tonnes of blessing their way
Certificate tucked in safe & sound
Final blessing by the men & women of God
Getting down the African way…I love the shocked look on Bishop Climate’s face 🙂
Linda’s dad Bishop Muiru gives a fare thee well to his daughter, she now is all yours Isaack, all the best 🙂
Crazy bridal team they were, too much fun this was
And the girls wanted to steal Linda…good thing Isaack had a tight grip on his wifey
The reception at Safari Park was beautiful laid out, every little detail had been well taken care of
The ambience was something out of a princess’ wedding dream 🙂
And then when the newly weds walked in the women were here to welcome them with song & jubilation
The party was jumping
Weddings and re-unions are synonymous 🙂
Loved this shot much
Some lovely portraits of the gorgeous wedding guests
One of my favourite time of the day is to take rounds while taking portraits of the guests, I always love the chance to meet new people and take some awesome photos
Lovely gift this was
Aerial view of the Jumbo hall in Safari Park
The cake, oh my!!! Oh my…Cake Art did a spectacular job at this one
And the large cake was finally cut
Pst. Josh did a big spray with that champagne
And after this the dancing started…
Linda & Isaack wanted a dance themed reception, and dancing they really did
Every wedding should have a specially reserved dance session, this is my all time favourite wedding time
Pst. Andrew, Linda’s brother & Dominic led the flash mob
Isaack gets carried shoulder high by his cronies
There was so much joy & energy all over
Finally the bouquet toss
After this we decided to take some portraits at the hall lobby just before we called it a night
Jose on the left killed that shot!!
This time we had the guys do the cheesy jumping shot 🙂
Some solos of the bridal team
The junior bridesmaids rocked it good
Then the senior bridesmaids showed them how its done
One of my day’s favs
We got some few chairs in, just to ass to the thrill of it all
And then when the guys joined in….BAM!!!
Hahaha loved this shot
And then we did the couple shots, these ones I absolutely loved
Those shady hugs never go out of fashion
Too much love for a brother
And then the crazy photos started
Then the rest of the guys behind the scenes took some pics too
Loved the splash of colour
After this Linda & Isaack showed up just after freshening up
And they took some few portraits with the team
Would love to finish this lovely post with a portrait of Linda & Isaack, to cap this very beautiful wedding day…would love you to check out the below wedding trailer done by the talented team behind Alko Films
