A few years back, we happened to be invited to a mutual friend’s daughter’s birthday party (mind you we didn’t even know each other at all). I remember the day like it was yesterday, we happened to drive into the birthday venue at the exact same time. She even thought I was stalking her..So we found ourselves saying hi to our friend at the same time. After brief introductions I was eager to know this Shiru more. As the evening wore on, it got cold and being the gentleman I am, I offered her my jacket as shelter from the cold. I refused to have my coat back in the hope of a date with this gorgeous lady that I had just met. So, after much persuasion, I got her number and a few months later I finally asked her to be my girlfriend.
After much conviction, prayers, and years of friendship I decided this is the girl I wanted to spend my life with… I proposed to her and she said yes! I cannot help but thank our good Lord for the favour of meeting her & getting now the opportunity to share a life together

Our handsome groom of the day Kevin with Ben who doubled up as his best man & also brother-in-love
Black is now my official best wedding colour. Shiru and the girls looked breath-taking
Shiru steps out of her room for the final time as a single maiden, marriage awaits yonder 🙂
Very emotional moments shared as Shiru’s folks handed her to her now ‘new’ parents. They also gave their blessing to Kevin & Shiru as they go to start off their new home
Ridgeways Baptist was impressively decked out. Unlike any I have witnessed before. It was a ceremony fit for a princess!
The bridal team dazzle as they dance down the carpeted aisle
Iconic photo of Shiru and her folks coming up the steps of the church
Emotions ran amock when Kevin got to meet his parents in love halfway down the aisle and they also walked him down the remaining part. This I found to be really special, them accepting him now as their son.
And then Kevin went back & picked his waiting bride and they walked together down the aisle
Truly a beautiful couple, whose very union was ordained from heaven!
Pst. Ben & the gang, putting a new meaning to the word ‘Dapper’
Worship, more tears and joy that knows no boundary

We found this gorgeous tree and it created the perfect backdrop for our mid-day photos
So many beautiful images we shot here…definitely will be somewhere I will be looking to get back and shoot
FYI Flying veils are still very cool in 2019 🙂
Ogake Mosomi did justice to Shiru’s gown!
Such beautiful human beings, both outside and inside too!
Luxe and Allure brought their A-game when it came to the decor
When it came to dancing, it was a no-holds barred situation
African traditions always add the razzmatazz to white weddings
Such a cute best couple 🙂 Pst. Ben was here taking notes for the newly weds since clearly they will not remember a thing that was said 🙂
Little Cake Girl outdid herself with this black awesomeness of a cake. And the taste blew our taste buds away
