I 1st met Joram in 2003 when we were freshmen in JKUAT, pursuing our undergrad. (try guess how young we be :-)). He was pursuing a 4 year course so he cleared a year before me. We met next last year when he told me that he was planning his wedding for the 3rd of December. He then briefed me on the general idea of what he wanted for his big day. That was sometime in August, we next met a few days before the wedding as we went for an excursion tour to the portrait session location i.e. Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club to scout out suitable photo op points. Windsor happens to be one of the most popular wedding portrait session locations due to its breath taking scenery. Also we visited the church and reception locations that happened to be BIFA (Buruburu Institute of Fine Arts).
Finally 3rd December did arrive and we had a wonderful time as Joram & Monica were finally given legal rights to be husband and wife, before God and the rest of us. Check out some of our snippets from their wonderful December wedding:
The bridal bouquet and heels, incidentally power decided to dissapear the morning of the wedding and I had to photograph the details outdoors but it worked our perfectly still
Monica gets touched up, looking awesome
That look Oh my! 🙂
Finally ready for the big day, a few moments before the singing ladies arrive
Yes, yes we did! The portrait session went down in the morning. 9am to be precise. I loved it, worked perfectly for me. Finally glad that a few daring people in Kenya are embracing the western idea of doing some portraits in the morning. Make-up is fresh, the lighting is awesome for photography and there is lots of time to be creative.
Windsor’s lobby is super for photography
