Glory be to be God that finally Christmas beckons, that joyous time of the year where we celebrate the virgin birth of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ…it is so easy to forget the reason for the season in all the celebration, always remember the reason for the season is Jesus!!!!
Well, we have another fun wedding to share with you guys yet again….we thank our good Lord that He enables our path to cross with wonderful people from half across the world and He gives us the chance to document one of the most special days in their lives. Juliet & Sammy flew from the States to come and celebrate their wedding with family & friends back here in Kenya….this is one of our recent weddings and one of the most fun we ever did shoot. This wedding was too awesome that we had to do 2 parts just to avoid overloading you guys with too much awesomeness on one post :)….
So, without further ado, let me introduce to you the love story of Juliet & Sammy 🙂
Ceremony, Reception & Photosession – Karen Country Lodge
Bridal Prep – Murangi Homes
Cinematography :: Alko Films
Juliet’s shoes….I give her a 10/10 on this ones…comfy, chic & kept up the African spirit
With Juliet’s permission we carefully carried her gown outdoors and hang it by one of the doors…As you can see the beautiful Murangi Homes architecture made our work very easy
For the very 1st times we photographed what the Mother of the Bride would be wearing…you can tell she has a good fashion sense
She had those beautiful custom made hangers…now if only we can get Faith one of these ….#MyWeddingWishList 🙂
That engagement ring!!!!!
We took extra care not to let it drop to the foliage below
Loved this one 🙂
Introducing Juliet, our beautiful bride of the day
Custom made ‘Bride’ Sleeping sleepers, how cool is that!!!
Little angel lost in all the confusion 🙂
On the other end the boys were getting ready too
Coolest cufflinks in the planet!!
Introducing Sammy, bit by bit
The socks are a win win too…I absolutely loved Sammy & Juliet’s attention to detail, nothing was left to chance
Hahahaha…..seeing double double?
Back to the ladies, make-up was just about to begin
One of my favourite accessories, them lashes 🙂
Make-up was amazing
One of my favourite images of the bridal prep
The dress fit perfectly & was breath-taking
And the Cathedral veil completed the entire look
The shock was evident 🙂
Traditional dancers!!!! Must have in any wedding
Time to leave for Karen Country Lodge
Juliet looked pensive, truly contemplating of the vows she was just about to say
As always Karen Country Lodge looked breath-taking…the set-up lived up to the Lodge’s name
The aerial view always does it for me
Ken caught this wonderful angel running and it made an amazing shot
Sammy awaits his bride
Just before she walked in the little people rocked the aisle 1st
The smiling ring-bearers
And finally, after the loooong wait 🙂
How beautiful is this
Everyone was smiling
Maid of honour
And these guys could sing…Acapella never sounded better
Hahahaha kids will always be kids
The smile was a must have accessory
Lovely, lovely lovely
And the vows commence, Juliet gives Sammy that look 🙂
One smiley bride
Her smile lit up the afternoon
And the joy was very contagious
The handsome ring bearer
The best man & Sammy share a secret joke
And the rings get set apart from all ordinary use and dedicated to God
Certificate signing was fun, fun, fun
Lovely image this was, caught unawares
And despite the wind, they were able to still get the candles to light
Clearly that umbrella had a mind of its own
And everyone laughed away
These gentlemen had serious class
Loved this shot 🙂
Aaaaaawwww how sweet is this
So many many wonderful images
Finally man & wife!!!!
And that’s it for part I, will be posting part II soon as I can sneak in a few hours to post…otherwise thank you for dropping by and if we do not link up before Christmas, have a happy, fun blessed one and let us all remember that the reason for the season is JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!
Much blessings always
