Glory be to God as we have another awesome opportunity to share with you this beautiful wedding we shot some time ago. Gathoni & I are so grateful to God always for the chance to document beautiful love stories & share our passion with the wonderful couples we get to meet & interact with. We met Ciru & Njui on a lazy Sunday afternoon, and talked over lots of things…When we left the meeting we knew right there & then that we were a perfect fit & this would be a wedding we would more than enjoy being part of.

***Cough, cough!!!! Ciru’s Jimmy Choos!!!! Let’s just say she took this bridal shoe game to an entirely new level
Well, I always love a bride who knows her style
We put the vintage Arabic tea-set to some good use 🙂
Absolutely loved the design of the maids’ dresses
Ciru got custom named scarfs for each of her maids including earrings
Wacuka dolls up the girls
Finished product!!!! The smiles tell it all
Mrs. Sharon Kinyanjui a.k.a Ciru 🙂
Ciru has to be the happiest, most gentle soul in the entire world!
And the transformation process starts
Make-up is one thing we always insist on our brides never to compromise on!!! Good make-up goes a long way towards making your day magical
Happy, happy all the way, this was definitely going to be a great day
On the other hand, Njui & the guys were prepping up at Windsor Golf & Country Club
Custom made cuff-links!!!! Investing in your details always pays off in return
Of tattoos & branded socks!!! Feel good Friday indeed
Ciru & Njui had little beautiful custom made gift favours for the wedding guests
Enough respect for you sir, Mr. Kris Kinyanjui Kimura
I just loved both Ciru & Njui’s attention to detail, and as all know now, we are suckers for fine detail
Time to get our dapper groom ready for his big day!
And just before we left for the ceremony some Glenmorangie scotch to get the show on the road
Back at Sharon’s things were getting on to a joyous start
I have no idea what was so surprising 🙂
‘I am getting married today!!!!’
Our gorgeous bride of the day
Aaawww how sweet this is 🙂
Bring it on Ciru!!!!
I have no idea why this image is just too gorgeous!
All veiled & ready to marry her knight in shining armour!
Gorgeous family indeed!!! Ciru with her lovely mum & sister Ciku
And the girls got to pop their own champagne too…and for those who are asking, the little angel had her glass filled with some good ol’ room temperature water 🙂
And they looked really lovely
Ciku and her dad…as you can see style runs in the family
This image is soo beautiful, warms up my heart! Proud parents they indeed were
Ciru is handed over to Njui’s folks
Both sets of parents together
And the women were here to celebrate this beautiful day…fashion statements were being made everywhere you looked
Mwihaki, Njui’s sister was also here to welcome her sister-in-love into the family
Is there anything more sexier than a convoy of German cars 🙂 Porsche only Please!!!!
Joy that knows no bounds
Ciru & Njui chose such a beautiful location for their wedding, Fairview Estate in Kiambu. We had never been here before, but when we got there, the beauty blew us away.
And as always Infinite Planners did quite a stellar job with the decor
Before long everybody arrived and the beautiful wedding started!
1st down the aisle was the man of the day, Njui!
Next, was the rest of the bridal team
That is the smile of a contented man 🙂
And then finally Ciru got to walk down the aisle hand in hand with her folks
This was going to be one joyous day!
It was such a bright & beautiful day
Jazz recording & performing guitarist, Eddie Grey was here to entertain
Njui’s brother Macharia Kimura takes us through the day’s reading
And beauty was freely splashed everywhere you looked
And it was a full house, I have a soft spot for African wedding…glam, colour & presence!
Pst. Phillip of Mamlaka delivered such a wonderful sermon, one carry home I got is that, Marriages founded on God do WORK!!!!
Does cuteness come any better than this?
The parents had a session to bless their children as they took their vows
Beautiful, precious moments these were
The digital bug has officially bit us all!
The blazing sun did not deter or dampen our joy!
Njui gets to unveil his beautiful blushing bride 🙂
Beautiful rings they had
And with these rings they both became husband & wife
1st Kiss from Gathoni & I’s perspective
Finally, husband & wife…it had been one looong, looong wait
I caught Ciru looking up to heaven, I guess she was whispering a silent ‘Thank You’ to Jesus 🙂
One of my favourite times in every wedding, dedication to God
Their joy simply knew no bounds…and with this their fairy tale started
How cool was their signing table, exit mainstream, enter tree stump 🙂
I give Ciru & Njui two thumbs up when it comes to creativity
I love that feeling, that ‘NOW MARRIED’ feeling 🙂
Alex Nyaga, the MC, had us all bending over in stitches
Just in case any one had any doubts, or hopes 🙂
Tucked in safe & sound
Most joyous bridal-team exit ever
Turn it around!!!
Both families together, I love this image since this represents the true sense of any marriage. Your people will be my people & your God will be my God!
After this we headed to the Bridal Gardens within the Estate & took some fun portraits as the sun set, my favourite time to shoot
We started off with the lovely young brides…I loved their innocent smiles
We wanted casual & fun portraits, and so we had fun!
Loved these portraits much!
I call this the walk of Glory
The young sir made this image glorious for me
Well, let’s just say boys will always be boys 🙂
And then it was the girls’ turn, they was no denying who rocked it better 🙂
The ladies absolutely killed that fierce look!
Such precious images these are
Beauty was dished out in droves
Ciru and the little angels
All girls together
Hahahaha Njui rocked this look so well ~~~~> Man of the Moment!
Aren’t these people gorgeous!!!!
Goofy Time ‘O’ Clock!
#YourTooYoung if you do not remember those javelin days in our local Matatus 🙂
These two gorgeous people!
After this it was time to head back to the reception, and we were greeted by a very lovely reception layout
Kudos to Sheavonne Services for putting this set up together & also a job very well done
The salad table for us veggie lovers 🙂
I love me a well done reception, detail, detail, detail
Anez Dishes were in the building to ensure that all the a 1,000+ of us were well fed!
The reception was fun, lots of food & socialising
Always love walking around & meeting new & beautiful people
And we had loads of laughs too
Oh my!!! Their cake was every brides fairy tale come true
The glass-topped cake table was lit up!
The cake cutting ceremony was all lights, flares & loads of action
Oh what happiness & joy they both had
The joy was contagious, precious moments that I pray both Njui & Ciru will cherish for the rest of their lives
We had some wonderful moments during the meet & greet
But before we finalised on the reception…
They did their 1st dance as husband & wife
And then Njui handed over his bride back to her father, for the father’s dance 🙂
Oh this was such a precious Father-daughter dance, definitely something I would recommend for every wedding!
More of their beautiful wedding guests
Ciku, Ciru & Njui 🙂
And with this mandatory drink 🙂 the reception was over, it was time for the after-party!!!!
After this we headed to Muthaiga Country Club for the after party. This was one serious party
All the dancing was saved for the evening! and they really knew how to throw down a party
DJ Mista Dru was bringing the house down literally
Party like it was 1999!!
When the beat drops 🙂
And the person who co-ordinated this beautiful wedding, Yvonne from Sheavonne Services
Yes, oh every wedding should be like this!!!
When you & the beat become one!!!
Wonderful re-unions on the dance floor
These awesome guys ensured that we had enough meat all night long!
And when G-Money took over the decks, it was turn table terrorism 🙂 He murdered those decks 🙂
We took a breather so that we could do some toasts…and they were so personal, hilarious & touching!
The best man Muriuki, gave one of the most heartfelt best-man toasts I had ever heard! You could hear a few sniffs from all over the room
And then also Ciku gave her toast to the newly weds…and she gave all the little hilarious stories of what growing up being Ciru’s small sister was like
Tears, tears & more precious tears!
And after this the party went on…
I had no idea that reggae had so many fans
I cannot ,for the life of me, remember what song was playing, but from what it seems ~~~> it was unbelievable 🙂
Good times indeed
And just like that one lucky girl got the wish of becoming the next bride to be 🙂
And to cap the night, Ciru & Njui had their official 1st dance. They danced to the reggae version of John Legend’s All of Me!
[embedplusvideo height=”630″ width=”945″ editlink=”http://bit.ly/1y0r67E” standard=”http://www.youtube.com/v/yTLmQ98KBYQ?fs=1″ vars=”ytid=yTLmQ98KBYQ&width=945&height=630&start=&stop=&rs=w&hd=0&autoplay=0&react=1&chapters=¬es=” id=”ep7097″ /]
Oh it was such a beautiful dance
And then their best couple joined in to cap the dance
And with this beautiful dance, we called it a night…a beautiful ending to such a beautiful, beautiful wedding.
To be truthful this had been one of the most joyous & fun weddings we had ever covered. Njui & Sharon are such amazing & special people that there are really no words we can use to describe them. Our deepest wish is that this joy & love that you have found in each other may last forever. May our good Lord keep this flame forever burning and when you look back on this day, many, many beautiful years later, may it seem like the day you were least in love…. compared to the love you would have found in each other….
God’s wonderful blessings!
