Well, we are back from the Mombasa Wedding Workshop with Faith, & we thank God for such a wonderful time with some really precious people. We are eternally grateful to God for giving us the chance for us to share our lives & help make the world a better place.
ION, this was a wedding we did a while ago. We had met Carol many months before as she was planning her wedding. It was then that I realised that we had studied together in campus i.e. in JKUAT & had even been in the same dance crew, back then when were young & dance was the order of the day. Thus, some time at the beginning of the year when Carol confirmed the booking, we were more than glad to take up the offer & shoot her beautiful wedding.
Ceremony :: Nairobi Baptist Church
Photographers :: Faith, Martin & Me
Carol’s gown hangs in all it’s glory
The girl’s were getting their make-up on!
Meanwhile, the maid of honour helps Carol get into her gown
Those smiles tell it all!!
Lol! this shot!
On the other side, Martin was getting his creative on, on Makenzie’s end
After Makenzie was done, it was all systems go, time to get him a bride
Hahaha! boys remembering their childhood days!
The Make-up artist works her magic
Carol was one glorious bride, not letting anything get her down!
That high-5! at the back was a shot at the right moment!
That bitter-sweet, veiling moment!
Carol & her beautiful mum, getting some daughter-mum advice
And mum also knows her deuces too 🙂
The yellow maids’ dresses were the icing on the wedding cake!
Carol’s too photogenic!!!
With mum & bro, they really clean up good 🙂
It was hard to hold back the sweet tears, as Carol was finally handed over to Makenzie’s mum
That’s a shot I loved!
They guys looked happy & relaxed as they waited for the ladies to arrive
Makenzie, looked pensive, as he awaited his soon to be bride
It was full house @ Nairobi Baptist Church
The procession was really fun, I guess one of the qualifications to be in Carol & Makenzie’s bridal party was to have a large thresh-hold of having fun 🙂
Finally the long awaited moment, as Carol walked down the isle to very warm & beautiful smiles
The best man, whispers a thank you prayer to the heavens 🙂
Time for some praise & worship
Hahaha! those private moments 🙂 am never one to miss these ones
Loved the look on Makenzie’s face 🙂
Nothing like a good ol’ jig to shake all your worries away
Makenzie had to confirm that she was the one he has waited for all his life!
Carol broke into a cold sweat on seeing the handsome warrior in shining armour (White suit) standing infront of her 🙂
Two different awesome views to the same photo
I wonder if they were really listening to what was being said…Lol!
Loved the message on this tattoo **Ode to young Nairobi girls doing skeleton tattoos!
Really love the blessing, one of my most special moments in any wedding
The K.I.S.S of life 🙂
Loved their sand ceremony, they were an epitome of a match made in heaven
Finally, doing the legal paper work to seal the deal!
Lol! too many good times
The officiating minister was hilarious & his antics during the sermon, had us all in stitches…I wonder what was happening here 🙂
He even had Makenzie carry a note of cash on his head & walk around with it on the stage 🙂
After this we headed to Ngong House, which was absolutely lovely & definitely one of the locations couples having weddings in Karen should look into
The interior is breath-taking
Carol is too much of a natural infront of the lens, made our work too easy!
Those ladies looked gorge!!!
They had a cute dog at the premise that was too into posing 🙂
They guys really looked fresh! Looked like they had had a few posing lessons
This bridal party!!!!
Those shadows on the grass just did it for me!
That is one cool groom
I loved the whole safari feel to these two images, dinner in the wild
Hahaha! these two photos 🙂
Makenzie – The Don!!!
After a while we were back for the reception & even though the skies were really threatening to open, we had the time of our lives
Bust a move like a lady
These were special 🙂
Traditions were not to be left behind
The heavenly cup-cakes!!!! I nearly had two whole ones 🙂
After all was said & done, the skies opened & we all got a good drenching to the bone 🙂 it was all worth it though…
After we drip-dried we headed to the picturesque Sarova Stanley for some last look portraits, despite our fatigue, Carol & Makenzie were rearing to go!!!
Some scream, high fashion!!!!!
The Sarova is too gorgeous, the interior has been really done exquisitely!
Carol on the pimped up bench!
Nothing more romantic like a couple who can sing as a duo 🙂
Turning up the heat a lil’ bit!
Next we hit the suite, oh this images were too fiery!!!!
Well, that is enough for today 🙂 really hope you loved this beautiful wedding of Carol & Makenzie……it had to be made in heaven…
Faith & I wish them all the best that life has to offer & a blessed, God ordained life ahead…
