Well, been really on my tip-toes to get this wedding posted. Juliet & Martin are the loveliest people you will ever meet & yes they both happen to be lawyers too :). Two of the most coolest lawyers I have ever met (No pun intended to other lawyers :)). Juliet is quite the wedding planner. She booked me almost a year to her wedding & had pretty much done her homework when it comes to wedding photography, no weddings as a whole!
Juliet & Martin took the whole entire package (To our joy) we did their engagement shoot which you can check out here, then we shot their wedding & finally shot their breath-taking trash the dress session down at the Coast. Will be posting those delicious images on the blog next week 🙂
Back to the wedding, Faith & I had a blast. Faith was at Martin’s to cover the groom prep while I was at Juliet’s for the bridal prep. Juliet being from the Coast, food was in plenty! and Martin & Juliet together with their bridal party were such a joy to photograph. Here is how we documented the day:
Ceremony & Reception : Serenity Gardens, Karen
Photosession : Murangi Homes , Bomas of Kenya.
Décor & Bouquets : Eden Spectrum (0722 892312)
Make~Up : Chao Mwadime (0726 354534)
Cake : Larimar Bakers
Cinematography : Faimus Productions below is the trailer from the wedding done by Faimus
The bridal prep was done at Murangi Homes, which is absolutely breath-taking. Really made my work easier. Would love to see the trend of bridal preps being done in resorts & hotels to grow on to Kenyan brides.
Juliet & Martin have the cutest little angel daughter called Jasmine. Juliet requested me to photograph her attire for the day
Cutest shoes in the world!
Juliet’s kicks ready for the big big day! she has good taste in shoe-wear 🙂
Diana, the maid of honour helps Juliet get into her gown…
Chao’s (M.U.A) table of make-up as she gets Juliet all dolled up for the big day
The bridesmaids flowing yellow dresses, brightened up the day lots. Theme colour choice is of utmost important.
Chao really did an amazing job at styling the braids
Happy, happy, happy we were nearly done
Juliet dons her heels
That was a warm smile right…I just told her to hold it till evening 🙂
We nearly forgot the veil….
Yep…those are spiral stairs you see there…Murangi is a photographer’s dream!!!
Juliet gets into the merc, and off we were, destination….Serenity Gardens
Meanwhile at Martin’s, Faith was off to a splendid start
It’s called taste & style!
Martin was all smiles, he was getting himself a wife
Martin & his brother who was doubling us as the best man. He flew in specially for his brothers wedding.
The sign at the gate ushered us to the venue
Eden Spectrum did a wonderful job on the decor & setup
That’s the cute little angel Jasmine, with her grandma, warming up to my lens
Martin came in dancing solo! It was a celebration for him…they had been planning the wedding for about 2 years…so he really had every reason to dance!
Oh, their outfits! still cannot get over them!
Finally, it was Juliet’s turn to walk down the flowery isle. Jasmine insisted on being part of this special moment & walked down the isle with her mum. Really sweet!
Their hands, to me, showed the emotion of the hand-over perfectly.
Time for some worship!
The guys looked fresh too in their yellow ties!
Oh, the vows were hilarious. The officiating minister, Pst. Mulandi, is too funny & I had plenty of moments to document
This was a special, private moment right here
Martin & his best man crack up!
Juliet & the maids light up!
The precious ring!
The ring was giving Juliet attitude, she just showed it whose boss!!!!
Martin surprised us all with this one…one spontaneous fellow 🙂
Once the certificate was safely tucked in, it was time to bring the house down!!!
I guess Martin & Juliet danced themselves through law school 🙂 I have never seen a couple that can dance like that!!!!!
Everybody’s a photographer nowadays???? (As I look for another job :()
Hahaha…Juliet was the blushing bride too 🙂
That sign could not have been more timely ‘Happily Ever After Begins Here’
Then we bolted off to Murangi homes for the creative’s session…but first we ate & ate…our hosts at Murangi know how to get to your heart through your tummy 🙂
The guys were up 1st…Faith was holding the heavy light 🙂 she did a thoroughly good job (Round of applause :))
These gentlemen have style!
They told me they were secret male models masquerading as groomsmen 🙂
Next we did portraits with the groom & individual groomsmen
Juliet & they dudes!
Juliet is a poser…the End!!!
Fun couple they are!
Murangi Homes is THE LOCATION!!
High fashion Divas!
Everything about this shot is just magnificent
Hahaha, I made Martin carry the bouquet 🙂
Rated 18+ 🙂
After a while we were back to Serenity for the reception & a cocktail of more dancing
I am not sure what Martin & the guys were cracking up at!
Well, now I know……Oh, am still laughing ROTFL!
Clearly Juliet was very amused!
Martin serenades Juliet with sweet words
Yes…that cake…it was so so long & awesome….kudos to Larimar Bakers for the great job & pulling off Juliet’s dream cake…Faith & I took her contacts too 🙂
There was more getting down literally, its lovely to see a couple so in sync with the beat
Hahaha this should be dubbed ‘How-to-get-red-wine-all over-your-spouse’s-top’ 🙂
Juliet & Martin did their own special vote of thanks & thanked all the vendors personally for making their wedding day a success. This to me & Faith was one of the most special moments of the day….Must do at our wedding!!
Guess who caught the bouquet?
Finally we were back to Murangi for some last look portraits…Jasmine joined in all the fun this time around
Yes, Juliet changed into her second gown too which was flowing & gorgeous!
One beautiful family right there
Next up was Martin & as we like saying….He Killed it!!!
This was deep, the emotion et al….
Loved the chair-series
And we kept turning up the heat…
After it become too much we had to dip into the pool to cool off 🙂
That was one long, long beautiful day. We had to say goodbye since it was getting too late & Faith had to be dropped home before midnight :)…..
The ‘Trash the Dress’ was scheduled for the coming Thursday at the Coast & we were teaming with energy….turned out to be one of the best sessions we have ever had…
Keep it locked here…there’s more of Juliet & Martin to come…
Have a blessed day friends…May our good Lord guide & keep you!
