We come from the same church and so we had known each other for a while…..mostly during the youth meetings after the service and those on weekdays.
I joined ropes (A rights of passage program for pri school leavers) and later she was among a number of people I was to train to join ropes.
Cut the long story…….. We had been conversing for all that time but nothing was in anyway visible neither from my side nor her side……
I asked her for a coffee date on a Monday 6th October 2008. (Coffee world was the place). From that first date I was now more than sure that she was the one . . . please note I had asked God to direct me and confirm if she was the right one . . .
We did a second date and on the third date in the same week……I asked her out . . . (she loves that I went to Mombasa and back during that conversation, if you get what am saying). From then on there was no turning back…
