To our good Lord up above be all the glory, honour & praise. Faith & I cannot help but exalt Him. God is gracious in spite our unfaithfulness. His tender & loving mercies keep and sustain us and when life overwhelms us,then He is the lifter up of our heads. Faith & I dedicate this post to the Lord in all His glory and we are humbled to be used by Him to make a difference through the work that He has blessed our hands to do. To God alone be all the glory, honour & praise.
Faith & I, are more than humbled to get to meet some amazing, amazing people and get to share and enjoy one of the most personal & precious days of our lives. Dom & Vera live in Australia, and even though Vera is Nigerian, they decided to come and celebrate their wedding with family & friends back here at home in Kenya. Dom & Vera are different, fresh, vibrant and some of most wonderful people you will ever meet. When I first met them, I fell in love with them & I knew that we would have a lot of fun on their wedding day. Dom, is the most hilarious man ever and he makes Vera laugh at every opportune time….they were such a joy to photography. Seriously loved Vera’s Collezione Bridal Couture‘s gown…one of the most unique I have seen to date
We photographed all their details too…Vera had chosen very, very well
The rings!!!! Did I hear someone shout ‘Hallelujah’ !!!!!
Her customised heels had their names engraved on the inner soles! how cool is that?
I Do? Yes she did 🙂
On the other end, Faith was getting her thing on!!!!
Brown is the new black 🙂
Detail is very key in a wedding…and we made sure nothing was left to chance, we shoot everything 🙂
Dom helps one of his groomsmen to dress
Style is everything!!!
Back at Shanema, the bridal prep was in high gear
Hahahaha that card on the left 🙂 really cracked me up
The wedding invite was in form of a passport 🙂
Mobile devices have become a basic need
Muthoni Njoba‘s tools of the trade
Introducing the gorgeous bride of the day
We had a good laugh
Cutest kiddos ever
Vera has such flowing & glowing skin
And Muthoni is simply the master at what she does
Just confirming whether the brows are all even 🙂
Pascal puts some final touches on the Mother of the Bride
Muthoni puts the final touches too
Took some portraits of the lovely girls before we stepped out
Work it girls!!
The stair case shoot is a never miss
Committing the day to the Lord
That priceless limo shot!!!
The security guys were on point
The procession was fun, fun, fun
Dom & his best man light up to ease all the butterflies flying about his tummy 🙂
The standing ovation 🙂
And the tears freely flowed
The mellow yellow was lovely
Glory be to the most High God
Loved the hanging lights at the church
Good times we had
And the KISS!!!!
Whispering sweet nothings 🙂
Finally husband & wife!!!
We took some portraits at the lobby of Safari Park since it was drizzling outdoors
The gentlemen looking sharp!!!!
One good looking groom Dom made
Some portraits of the bridal team
Tree-moving faith 🙂

Vera brings it!!!!!
Work it Vera!
Vera & the girls lit up the night!
Vera did solos with each maid
One loud, super-fun bridal team!
And they can goof around 🙂
And we were off to the reception
The set-up was so lovely, Dom & Vera went all out on the detail
Mood-lighting always my favourite
The reception was too much fun, oh we danced and laughed and danced again
Hahahaha they were being given the magic portion that makes marriages work 🙂
Vera being schooled on a bit of Kenyan tradition, cooking in a pot
Hahahah Vera is such a fast learner
Happy peoples 🙂
Next it was time for the Nigerian tradition where the bride dances and the guest bless her with money literally 🙂
This is one tradition I would not mind done at our wedding 🙂
Money money 🙂
Dom was told to join in & now it was Dom’s family turn to do the money blessing
It was raining cash 🙂
Next the girls did a fun traditional dance
And the Naija ladies joined too…and man can they dance!!!
Doing the train
Oh it was too much fun & dancing
Finally it was time for Cake-cutting, and HomeMade By Mumbi did a splendid job with the cake, one of the most tasty I have ever tasted
And Dom prayed one hilarious prayer 🙂
Funniest people ever
Dom’s attempt to pop the champagne 🙂
To an even happier life as husband & wife
Vera serves Dom’s mum the cake on bended knee
And she did the same for her mum too 🙂
The cakes to be given as presents to the folks were packed in some cute boxes
Everyone, had to deliver the box to the in-laws together with the bridal team
And the girls together with Vera went on their knees out of reverence to the parents…this was so moving!
Dom greets Vera’s side of the family
And him and the boys were given a few words of advice on how to best handle Naija women 🙂
And this left Vera & the girls in tears 🙂
And Vera could dance!!!!
The bouquet toss!!!
The single ladies wait in anticipation…each one indicating to Vera which side to direct the bouquet to 🙂
And the lucky girl was……
Afterwards we decided to take a few images at the reception venue as the staff was clearing it off
Dom whispering in Vera’s ear 🙂 I can only imagine all the silly things she was being told 🙂
Vera has such a hearty laugh
We just left them to their antics and we shot away!
Such sweet people these are 🙂
Such lovely times these were
Lovely capture especially with the staff clearing off the location
The lights in the background were such a beautiful backdrop
I told them to do the dance, and we got this 🙂
The kissing swans at the honeymoon suite told it all 🙂 set the mood for the night!
And the silliness started 🙂 oh how wonderful it is to watch two people in love
Aaaaawwww so very sweet!
Hahahaha it was time for Vera to revenge 🙂
Such a lovely, lovely couple
And this capped the day to one of the most fun & beautiful weddings we ever did capture. I only hope that Faith & I documented to some degree, the personalities of Vera & Dom. We are so honoured to have met & interacted with such lovely, happy souls, and even though they are half-way across the world from us, am sure that we played some little part in documenting this very beautiful day for them for posterity.
God Bless you guys for dropping by and letting Faith & I share a piece of our lives through our eyes.
May the peace of our precious Lord & Saviour, keep you always…
Lots of love & hugs,
Faith & Ben
