Karimi & Spencer’s wedding was something really special. This post is about 8 months after this beautiful wedding. I always kept postponing blogging it and finally Karimi & Spencer premier on the blog. Karimi & I spoke over length via email about her wedding et al. At the time she was living in South Africa. I met her and her now husband Spencer some days to the wedding where we did their engagement shoot at the place where they 1st met, The St. Mary’s School.
They had a small & intimate wedding at Enashipai Resort, which being my 1st visit there; took my breath away. The wedding was amazing, we worked a straight 15 hours shooting this wedding, but we really enjoyed it…Here are some of my favourite moments from their day…
Location :: Enashipai Resort & Spa
As you have noticed I shot this wedding with my then associate photographers. You can check out their work from their pages as hyperlinked.
The view that greeted us when we drove to Enashipai was breath-taking…this is indeed the dream destination wedding location
It was really hot & sunny but we chose to do our very best
A beautiful Karimi, greeted us at the door
There’s nothing better than a happy smiley bride…and Karimi was not one to disappoint
The window light provided a perfect backdrop for a silhouette
Meanwhile at nearby cottages….
Spencer was relaxed, having a good times with his boys
Soon it was time to dress & head to the ceremony venue
Meanwhile the ladies were nearly done too
Cheers to the new life ahead
Happy, happy happy
The ladies looked lovely in their flowing dresses
Soon it was time to leave for the ceremony & the golf cart was at hand to escort her to her soon to be hubby
The wonderful view of Lake Naivasha that over-looked the ceremony
Meanwhile at the ceremony the guests had already began streaming in, eager to see the beautiful bride
Spencer having a good time
1st up was the bridal team, Miguel, Esmeralda’s handsome son & Karimi’s sister
Finally the long awaited moment as Karimi is walked down the grassy aisle by her father
It was a moment for tears
Nothing like a father’s love for her daughter
A very emotional hand-over
An over-head view of the ceremony
Exchange of vows
The joy was infectious
One hilarious man of God
Love those stolen private moments
Husband & wife finally hand in hand
And a very passionate kiss to seal this wonderful marriage
After the ceremony, Karimi & Spencer cut their wedding cake during the cock-tail hour
We took some really fun photos as the sun was setting and as the hippos came out to graze 🙂
Karimi was in good hands since most of the groomsmen were amazing rugby players
Spence and the lovely ladies
The whole awesome bridal team
This shot really gave us the headache of our lives to execute 🙂 glad we nailed it!!!
Spencer & the guys doing the gentleman’s walk
They had arranged an evening reception, which I have come to absolutely adore, a toast to the newly weds!
Husband and wife finally and everyone celebrated with them

After this, the party was on…Spencer & Karimi had wished to have a fun photo-booth for their wedding guests…this was my highlight for the night
